My husband and I could not have asked for a better professional to capture one of the most significant days of our lives than Sandy. From the very fist call until the last photo was taken, Sandy handled all aspects of planning, directing and photographing our day with positivity, creativity, and total professionalism. She always made herself available in an extremely reasonable amount of time whenever I had a question. She was also completely open to collaborating on ideas for what kind of pictures we wished for, which I very much appreciated, and Sandy had no problem with shooting a couple of special request photos the day of.
I'll be honest- I am an extremely anxious person, but felt amazingly calm and relaxed as soon as Sandy arrived, and for the rest of what I previously feared would be a stressful day. Sandy is friendly, calm, and very efficient- qualities that I feel are beneficial to anyone seeking a wedding photographer. And, of course, the photos. Sandy is truly a master at her work. She perfectly captured not only the look of my wedding, but the feeling. Sandy really focused on capturing aspects of my day that were important to me and then some, and the photographs that I'll have forever as a result are truly a treasure to me.
Sandy, thank you so much for our BEAUTIFUL wedding photos (and engagement pictures too!). They are absolutely beautiful and we couldn't be happier with how they turned out. Our family and friends have RAVED about how great they are. We really enjoyed working with you and are so thankful you were an integral part of capturing our day! Thanks again!!
Sandy did an excellent job! She worked with our very crazy schedule and was very flexible. She was open to ideas of poses and props that I had found, and she also had many fantastic ideas to share. I received my edited photos extremely quick. The photos were beautiful! I would definitely hire Sandy again and would recommend that others hire her.
Sandy did an amazing job with all our photography needs. Both Craig and I are a very type A couple that were very particular about the types of photos we wanted, and she was very receptive to every single thing we wanted and more. For example, we had a list of family/traditional photos that we wanted that was probably two pages long and she got every single one of them. We also wanted outdoor pictures in the city (in January, in one of the coldest days of the year) and she didn't blink an eye about spending an hour outside. It's the little things she does that go above and beyond other photographers we contacted. For example, she told all our groomsmen to take their cell phones out of their pockets during the wedding so there wouldn't be any weird bulges. One of my groomsmen who happens to be in the catering business told me later that he has never seen someone so organized. It's the little things like those that most photographers don't think about. She backs up her photos in three different locations, while most other photographers we contacted didn't even do one. I couldn't imagine getting my photos done and then having them be lost. Hands down I will cherish these photos forever!
To put it simply, Sandy is superb in everything she does. Our experience with her for our wedding was nothing short of astonishing. Not only is she exceptional behind the lens, she is sweet, caring and personable. Sandy took the time to learn all ten members of our wedding party's names which made getting pictures much easier. She has an artistic eye for what works and how things will look that is just remarkable. She is excellent with young children, getting some flawless shots of our 3-year old flower girl, even when she was less than cooperative. Sandy is extremely reasonably priced for the level of experience and care she provides.
On a more personal level, she even reached out when she found out we had a death in our family, not as a photographer, but as someone who cared and was concerned which was extremely touching and refreshing. Sandy did such and excellent job that we will be using her for all our professional photography needs from here on out. I can't sing her praises enough!
